In the salt industry, where efficiency and reducing operational costs are crucial due to high competition, our client faced the challenge of drawing seawater from a beach located over 200 meters from the first sand trap. The client required a unique a solution that met and involve several specific conditions:

Eliminate the use of concrete.
Minimize environmental impact, both noise and visual.
Provide water with the least amount of sand possible to prevent premature sedimentation in the channels.

ETEC designed an innovative floating pumping system that perfectly met these needs, providing efficient and sustainable water intake.
