In order to counteract the effects of El Niño weather phenomenon and to maintain a minimum level of the water of the Embalse Del Guajaro, and to avoid the annually effect of the dry season due to the fact that the fixed pumps are not able to sort out the situation when the intake water level is too low; Floating pumps VL have been installed.
